About Me

For me food is an emotion- a way to brighten up anything- makes catching up with friend more special, solace on a sad day, comfort after a hard working day, adding zing to daily life, or the perfect ending to a lazy Sunday (or everyday, Thank you Covid).

I had started cooking at a very young age. I enjoy tweaking the recipes to suit our palate, adapting dishes based on the available ingredients and quickly making recipes when guests come unannounced (and utilise leftovers too, ssshhhh).

The blog contains some food stories, recipes that I have come up with, dishes that have been passed down in the family, recipes shared and learnt from people in my life and on the internet. Hope you would enjoy this food journey with me.
